The post-2000 coastal-modern builds along Cabarita Park and the Norries Headland walk lean toward the same beige-on-beige template that has drifted across the Northern Rivers for a decade, while the 1970s and 80s holiday cottages on the back streets have the opposite issue, with original tile, original cabinetry, and original everything, often lovely to look at but no longer working for the way the home is lived in.
